FAQs

Is Teeth Whitening safe?

Teeth Whitening is one of the simplest cosmetic procedures if done right. Doing it right means using a proper whitening agent (a good hydrogen peroxide gel) and an appropriate whitening accelerator. The most practical accelerator is an LED lamp emitting  a cold blue light with a wavelength of ~465 nm which is ideal for activating the hydrogen peroxide and accelerating the whitening process. The procedure is very simple and non-invasive. The blue light is placed directly in front of the exposed teeth for a 20 minute treatment. Typically, 1 to 3 treatments are performed on each customer, the more treatments we perform, the better results you will obtain.

Will my teeth get whiter?

Cosmetic teeth whitening treatments will make your teeth whiter. How much whiter? This depends on many factors: how stained, what kind of staining, how well the clients enamel reacts to the peroxide, and the number of treatments performed. Most people get impressive results, while a few may get less dramatic results. However, 99% of clients are very satisfied with the results from this system. When it comes to wanting to whiten your teeth,  it all depends on your genetics. Clients teeth will only whiten to the white colour their genes naturally allow. This means that a persons teeth cannot be whitened more than what they allow.

How long do the teeth whitening effects last?

Typically  teeth whitening last a couple months or longer, it really depends on your lifestyle.

Do teeth whiteners damage tooth enamel?

No, tooth whiteners do not damage tooth enamel.
